Seaside Trip to Weston Super Mare

Our seaside trip had been weeks in the making. Unit 3 had been counting down the days with growing excitement, and at last, the big day had arrived!

Thanks to the fantastic support at our Christmas and summer fairs, we raised enough money to enjoy a well deserved seaside trip. Spirits were high as we boarded a brand new coach. We were the first to use it! With snacks packed and seatbelts on, we set off for Weston super Mare.

Sunny Weather and Sea Air

We arrived to lovely weather. No rain all day, which made the seaside trip even more enjoyable. The first thing we all asked? “Where is the sea?” With the tide so far out, it was hard to spot!

Still, nothing could dampen our excitement.

Tucking into Fish and Chips

One of the best parts of any seaside trip is the food. After our journey, we were all ready for lunch. The fish and chips were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Everyone left the table full and happy.

Exploring the Pier

Next, we headed for the pier. It was bright and busy, just what we had hoped for on our seaside trip. We spent time in the arcades playing 2p machines, tried our luck on the grabbers, and visited the gift shops. Some of us took a walk on the beach, still hoping to spot the sea!

Ice Cream and Smiles

Before heading back to the coach, we ended our seaside trip with the perfect treat ice cream. With cones in hand and sun on our faces, it was a relaxing finish to a fun filled day.

Our trip was a big success. From the coach journey to the seaside views, every part of the day brought laughter, friendship, and great memories. We are already looking forward to the next adventure.
